The Covenant of Mayors in Sub-Saharan Africa took an active part in the Climate Chance Africa Summit held in Abidjan from 27 to 29 June 2018. Where exchanges were focus on the financial support for cities, but also the need to involve all actors from the national level to the local level. Mr. Felice Zaccheo Head of Unit at DG DEVCO announced during the Focus group that, there will be a next phase of the project to support more African cities.
